This digital patient engagement solution, developed by Physitrack, one of the very few companies in the digital healthcare industry that Apple is collaborating closely with, will make it possible for Allied Health providers in New Zealand to extend the scope of their work to offer smartphone, tablet and computer-based video consultations before, during or after in-patient treatments.
Danny Trigg, Director Gensolve Practice Manager: “This is the first time both patient engagement and secure video consultations have been combined inside a practice management system in this way. Gensolve are excited to be able to offer New Zealand’s healthcare practitioners this innovative technology, which is designed to enhance patient journeys and improve outcomes. Practitioners will be able to conduct patient consultations regardless of their location, all initiated from within Gensolve.
Henrik Molin, CEO & co-founder of Physitrack: “While digital in-practice and remote care are on the agenda of private and public healthcare systems all over the world, very few countries have managed wide implementation of easily accessible and working solutions. Gensolve’s innovative move today, that provides this unique combination of digital home exercise provision and Telehealth technology to what is in effect 90% of the New Zealand market, is groundbreaking and we are very excited to be part of this historical move.”
Starting in December, all of Gensolve’s GPM customers in New Zealand will have access to Physitrack at no additional charge to their GPM subscriptions from within GMP. A minimal per minute call charge will be introduced to GPM users in the coming months for using the Telehealth feature.
